Using Sage software (see note below), SW Group Logistics Limited operates an integrated sales invoicing, sales ledger and credit control system.

There is over 25 years experience within our accounts office and the sales accounting team currently handles a sales ledger of nearly 400 customers, raising approx 600 invoices per month.

Sales invoices are prepared from information electronically supplied from any of SW Group Logistics operating divisions e.g. storage, fulfilment, transport etc. Each invoice is automatically controlled to ensure product/service information, prices, extensions and VAT is correct. Our flexible approach to invoicing will allow customers to indicate if order number and reference numbers are to be shown within the invoice. If required, we are able to attach summary information to the invoice covering such items as stock movements and storage records. We aim to produce all invoices in a timely manner and customers have the option of receiving invoices weekly or to coincide with their monthly or four weekly accounting cycle.

Within the Sales ledger system, invoices are instantly set against a customers account, which has preset credit limits and agreed payment terms. We belong to a credit association so can obtain credit ratings on behalf of our clients; additionally we have instant access to all Limited Company accounts and credit ratings. Our credit control systems ensure that customers are politely reminded when the terms are exceeded.

As a limited, medium sized company with annual audits, SW abides by all SAS accounting standards.
