From collection to delivery your goods are transported by our own vehicle fleet, maintained to the highest standards, and driven by our fully trained and diligent drivers. This gives us complete control over the quality of our service and provides you peace of mind.

Our strategically located UK depots are staffed by our own employees. We provide 24-hour end-to-end visibility and traceability via our bespoke IT systems.

We also have extensive experience and expertise in “out of gauge,” damage sensitive and high-value goods. This has led to us becoming the leading UK logistics partner for manufacturers and distributors in the renewables sector, with its unique set of challenges.

“Out-of-gauge” freight for the renewables sector includes: solar panels and roof mounting rails, Hazardous & Dangerous Goods (with ADR requirement for Lithium-Ion Batteries), and the manual handling challenges of 3m long, or super heavy products.

For over six decades we’ve repeatedly won major tenders. We’ve built strong relationships with many of the UK’s leading companies, becoming their preferred logistics supplier.

SW Group is a second-generation family business with Richard Knox the son of Ken Knox, leading from the front. Richard’s family members all hold operational rather than non-exec roles, to ensure the business retains its family ethos.
